I'll admit, I have a bad habit of adding way more cheese to things than I should, but these stuffed meatballs might actually be a little light on cheese.
I really don't have a lot to say about these meatballs, they're pretty straight forward. They're really nice because you don't have to cook them with marinara sauce or another sauce while you're making them. This opens them up to options that aren't pasta. Maybe you serve them with rice and no sauce, maybe you use a white sauce instead of the traditional red sauce, the choice is yours.
The only possible issue of making them without sauce is that it can be really easy for them to dry out in the cooking, so if you cook them without sauce covering them, keep a close eye on them as the 4 hour mark approaches.
